Women feel more confident by doing daily makeup. If one has sensitive skin, do not use cosmetics product regularly.

For daily makeup- for work, town or for classes you must use simple rules: it has to underline the natural advantages, to hide some face problems and it should not be too intense. The makeup has to rejuvenate personal brightness and to act positively on the others. It is not used too much color. In the same time, we do not have to imagine that work is a punishment and all makeup has to be dead.

Do not use cosmetics that are out of expiry dates. Life span of lipsticks and foundations is about one year, mascaras last for three to four months and eye shadows and powder last for two years.

One can use eyebrow pencils and eyeliner pencils with wax based formulas for daily makeup. They can easily removed by using clean water. Do not use light earth tones, as it does not give a natural look.

Consider a bronzer to add additional color to your face. This is great during the summer time to give the appearance of a tan without the sun damage. This may be a daily, seasonal or special occasion item depending on the frequency you use it.

Base: you will need to have a shade of foundation that suits your skin tone for the best (and quickest) application. Only apply base where you need it - to even out skin tone, around eyes, to cover pigmentation, and for a clear, youthful complexion. Liquid (to suit your skin type) or cream to powder finish (like Vincent Longo’s water canvas or MAC studio tech) are quick and easy to apply, with a light feel and a natural finish. Applying foundation first may give you enough coverage and save time by minimize the amount of concealer you need to use.
If you need to apply concealer only where needed - i.e. Under eyes, in the inner corner of eyes, any blemishes.

If the office has cold light, which comes from the, then all makeup has to contain warm colors: beiges, browns. Even mascara for eyelashes should have a brown nuance. A business lunch is an occasion to go out from your office but it is not an occasion for an elaborate makeup, you need a formal note for business.

For the purpose of daily makeup usually powder cosmetics are preferred because they not only keep the shine under control but also contain less preservatives and skin irritants as compared to the liquid ones.

But remember that using makeup remover to clean out waterproof cosmetics also wipes out the protective layer of sebum from the skin; therefore you should use waterproof cosmetics only occasionally and not on routine basis.

You should use a broad-spectrum sunscreen. The sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor 15 or higher and with ingredients such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide is very effective in avoiding the harmful effects of UVA rays.
